I am the co-founder and chief technology officer at Talus Bio. With over a decade’s experience in analytical chemistry and computational biology, I develop technologies for quantitative proteomics. In particular, at Talus, I’m working on the challenges associated with scaling-up quantitative proteomics experiments. I am directly involved in a large variety of research projects spanning cancer drug discovery, molecular mechanisms of aging, epigenetics, and spatiotemporal proteomics. In addition to my research and leadership roles, I am an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS), the Human Proteome Organization (HUPO), and US HUPO. I am passionate about community building and mentorship, serving as an organizer for numerous workshops for proteomics, professional skills, and entrepreneurship.
When I’m not working, I enjoy bringing my son to the zoo, reading on my Kindle with a cup of coffee, and running 5ks around Seattle’s parks.
